Compassionate Healing
I like to support people who strive to be kind and compassionate. I really enjoy working with highly sensitive people. I will work hard to support you in developing skills to face the world with calmness and to strengthen your ability to regulate your emotions. We will work together to help you overcome obstacles that are getting in the way of you achieving your goals.
I am a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, for racial justice and equality, and for women's rights. I am a strong supporter of disability rights, and an advocate for protecting and caring for animals and our planet.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a central factor in helping people to heal from trauma. I am committed to helping you find relief. To help you on your journey I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I believe in a harm reduction approach when working with substance use disorders.
I am a Vermont licensed clinical mental health counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor. I work with adults 18 years and older. You can expect to experience empathy, compassion, and open-mindedness in your journey to improve the quality of your life.
I look forward to connecting with you.
